Opinion on Climate Change
I found this on the Internet archives site and wondered why we all seem to forget what words really mean. I can remember when I was growing up the rote of saying the Pledge of Allegiance every day at school. Shortly after high school, I joined the Army. I never claimed to be a patriot or anything like that. But, I always respected the Flag and what I believed it stood for.
Now, I feel many people believe since United States has done so much wrong throughout it's history, everything the nation does now has also got to be wrong. While there may be some wrongs, not everything is.
While we are all individuals, we must not forget that we are also part of a community, making a group of states that makes a great Nation. With that I present Red Skelton's Pledge of Allegiance.
